As we head into the new year, Mobile Legends Professional League is already on its way as Cambodia’s Spring 2022 Season is confirmed.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang has seen a massive spike in both its viewership and player numbers, especially after the culmination of 2021 with the M3 World Championships. One of the biggest aspects of last year was the first iteration of the Mobile Legends Professional League in Cambodia, which saw a total of eight teams fighting for the region’s championship. After a four-week Regular Season, the remaining teams fought through a grueling Playoff stage, where SeeYouSoon were crowned as the inaugural champions – and claimed their spot at M3.

Although not having the greatest time at M3, SYS will be returning to their homes, ready for the second iteration of MPL KH, which will kick off later this year. Before the top four teams from MPL KH Season 1 can attempt to either defend or claim the title, the open qualifiers will need to be played – which will see up to 256 qualifier teams fighting to join in for Season 2.

Registration for the open qualifiers is now open until January 11, 2022, with the qualifiers running from January 13 through to January 21, 2022. From this, four teams will make their way to join the top four from MPL KH Season 1, as they battle through Season 2 to find a champion.

The top four teams from MPL KH Season 1 are:

• SeeYouSoon
• Impunity KH
• Diversity Gaming Quantum
• BURN Gaming

While we only saw one final weekend of playoff action during MPL KH Season 1, Season 2 promises a much longer playoff stage, giving the teams more chances to become the champions of Cambodia. The Regular Season is set to run from February 26 through to March 28, 2022, with the playoffs coming our way from April 9 and running through until April 24.
