PHNOM PENH, 6 August – The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League - Cambodia (MPL-KH) commences on 6 August 2022 with the continuation of "Beyond Outstanding." The league has been one of the strongest nations in the region and is expected to showcase a tournament like never before with MPL Philippines esports athletes joining.

This exciting season comprises of eight (8) strong teams that will prove how they have gone beyond mediocrity and became one of the feared leagues in the region. They are Impunity KH, See You Soon, Burn x Flash, Logic Esports, Diversity Gaming, Divinity Saga, Team Max, and CFU E-sports League Cambodia.

"The MPL-KH will bring a different season with imports from the Philippines joining the league. We are excited to see how this will change the status and further elevate the level of competition. Shaking things up this season

The Regular Season runs for five (5) weeks, from 6 August to 4 September 2022 in a best-of-two series. Spring Split 2022 champion team Impunity KH and CFU E-sports League Cambodia opens the tournament.

CFU E-sports League Cambodia qualified for the Autumn Split after acquiring Infamous which placed 7th in the Spring Split 2022. The team is now composed of new players Cheang "Zee" Piseth, Vann "WADU" Dane, Chea "HanXin" Songhai, Nhem "Detective" Chandavan, Sath "Dizzy" SakSovvann, Lem "FlameZy" Sochetra, and Rithy "Mejojo" SokunReach.

On the other hand, Burn X Flash recently acquired former Nexplay EVOS standouts Michael “MPDKING” Endino and Jhonwin “Hesa” Vergara. Filipino coach John “Zico” Dizon leads the team which came off a 4th place finish in the Spring 2022.

Meanwhile, Playoffs Season starts 17 September - 1 October 2022 where qualifying teams will fight for their spot on the Grand Finals through a best-of-five (BO5) series. The Championship follows on 2 October 2022.

MPL-KH is supported by brand partners to ensure an outstanding-level tournament. This season, Leading local mobile operator Metfone joins as the presenting partner. Renowned automobile manufacturer Honda is now part of the official sponsors alongside Sting. The energy drink maker will provide chairs and beverages for the players.

Meanwhile, Indonesia-based instant noodle producer Indomie joins TikTok as the esports partners.
